PizzaExpress: Highcross Leicester

After designing over 100 restaurants for Pizza Express we had the unusual pleasure of working close to home for this new build in Highcross, Leicester.


Curved banquette seating provides intimate areas, with the aqua leather adding to the colourful environment. PizzaExpress monochrome stripes feature on columns, lampshades and even the baby changing signage.


Customers and passers-by can clearly see the skill of the chefs in the marble clad pizzaiolo. On entering the restaurant bold hexagonal tiles provide dramatic flooring.
 


It has to be the beautiful artworks by Jane French that really catch the eye though. Her framed paintings of Bradgate Park show varied views of this local beauty spot and also provide a vibrant backdrop for diners.
 


With positive feedback from our client and the restaurant looking busy whenever we pass, we are certainly looking forward to a team meal there later this month.
