The Thinking
A new development on the Newquay seafront provided an ideal opportunity. Creed were called in to apply a cool and sophisticated aesthetic which would attract locals and tourists alike.
The Result
The design capitalises on the spectacular ocean vista through the full height glazed wall to the sea elevation. This is further accentuated through the use of bevelled mirror tiles – bouncing the ocean view and unique Cornish light throughout the space. Bespoke artwork was created through a close collaboration with a photographer (and surfer) – producing images which were printed at the appropriate large panoramic scale. A combination of ceiling rafts and tensioned fabric screens add interest and drama to the space at higher level – hinting at a rich local history.
