Pizza Express : Charlotte Street
The New Stripes



The use of carefully selected furniture, colours and detail creates three distinct dining rooms across this three floor restaurant. Cool blue and white acoustic rafts and rich teal laminate counters contrast with the classic Pizza Express materials of Carrara marble and timber flooring. Rich red and sharp mustard colours in the basement provide a very different intimate party dining space.



New signature details are conveyed with striped edge laminate tables, bespoke black and white artwork and wallpaper.


 
Creed created crisp and detailed canvas prints of Jazz royalty – celebrating the rich musical association of Jazz music and Pizza Express. Clearly defined zones are punctuated by leather upholstered booths and banquette seating, lit by oversized striped pendants and new recessed LED fittings. A clear zone in the wallpaper allows classic Italian films to be projected to the wall above the booth seating.


 
The refurbishment of this restaurant allowed Creed to work with the client team to introduce and apply the new Pizza Express key brand elements. Dedicated desserts displays, product display units and a takeaway zone were incorporated to refresh and re-establish this restaurant as a major player in this key dining area, just off Tottenham Court Road.



 

Pizza Express : Poole
Tower Park



In good time for the holiday season, the latest new-build restaurant from Creed Design is at Tower Park, Poole.



The large and characterless retail unit was subdivided and styled to create a bright and bold addition to the busy out-of-town entertainment complex. The airy and colourful environment provides 3 distinct areas - each with a unique feel and interest.



Black and white ‘herringbone’ floor tiles contrast with the custom print wallpaper and the angled and striped ceiling. Colours and patterns take cues from nearby beaches and seaside activities.

Acoustic features are cleverly incorporated into the ceiling rafts and back wall to minimise and control noise intrusion.



Families and children are well  catered for at this venue, with childrens party tables, blackboards and clear views of the theatre kitchen.
