A SOPHISTICATED COLOUR PALETTE & MATERIALS COMBINE TO CREATE A WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT AT THIS SERIOUSLY STYLISH BAR & RESTAURANT
Our client was keen to use this high-profile refurbishment to re-establish themselves as a competitor in an increasingly developed location in Richmond. The restaurant previously had a family friendly feel, however the brief required us to extend the appeal to couples and groups, especially during the evening.
We were excited to design a complete transformation of the restaurant and placed great importance on the customer journey and operational needs.
A bespoke tiled feature floor reflects the brand and guides customers through the restaurant. The brass trim details, dark oak high panelling and rich green walls create a sophisticated restaurant with a classic feel.
The bar became somewhere diners could enjoy sitting for an aperitive, to eat or for after-dinner drinks. Perched on the high stools they can observe the hustle and bustle of the bar tenders and linger that little bit longer. This flexible space could also be cleared of furniture to become a focus for entertainment, such as a band, should the occasion arise.
Artwork and planting such as the ivy pot wall takes inspiration from nearby Richmond Park and its woodland wildlife. This combines with soft, warm lighting to achieve a relaxed and welcoming environment throughout.
The completed refurbishment was well received by customers, increasing per head spend and the amount of covers throughout the day and evening.
